A $45/per hour charge shall be assessed for each hour after the designated return time, 3 hours or greater shall be assessed as an additional rental day at contracted rate.

In the event of the death of the disabled person and the trip does not occur all monies will be refunded upon verification by Florida Van Rentals, Inc. requires the name and phone number of the funeral director and the funeral home and a copy of the obituary from the newspaper.

Cancellation, including a reason for the cancellation, can be done by phone but Florida Van Rentals, Inc. requires a written cancellation, including a reason for the cancellation, be sent by either, US mail, fax or e-mail

$250 deductible Collision Damage Waiver

$188.65 per week, $ 26.95 per day. For $26.95 a day you can have a $250.00 deductible.

$500 deductible Collision Damage Waiver

$153.65 per week, $ 21.95 per day. For $21.95 a day you can have a $500.00 deductible.

$1000 deductible Collision Damage Waiver

$118.65 per week, $ 16.95 per day. For $16.95 a day you can have a $1000.00 deductible.

Additional drivers must be listed on the rental agreement form. There will be $10.00 per driver charge.

We will provide 100 miles a day free. Any mileage over & above the free miles will be charged at 25 cents a mile. The mileage will start when we leave our office to pick you up at the airport.

All accessible vans are given to the client with a full tank of gas. If the van is not returned with a full tank of gas then there will be a service charge of $25.00 plus the actual cost of the gas.

There will be a $40.00 cleaning charge if the van is returned requiring extra hard cleaning. This includes but is not limited to stains on the seats, carpet, large deposits of sands.

There will be an additional $50.00 plus tax charge if the airport drop off or pick up is later than 9:00 pm or earlier than 7:00am. If the van is parked at the airport when being returned the renter will be responsible for any and all parking fees. If a lockout occurs please call the office and we will arrange for someone to come out to open the van. There will be a $50.00 charge for this service plus the cost of the locksmith if required.

If you change flights you MUST notify us as soon as possible. If we are not notified of a schedule change and we go to the airport to pick you up there will be a $25.00 charge.

The renter is responsible for damage to the van. This includes but is not limited to: torn upholstery, cigarette burns, torn carpets, broken windows and window frames, damage to the lift, damage to the tires, lost keys, lost TV remotes.

Vans are checked before going out on rental and upon coming back from rental. All renters have the right to inspect the van before leaving our lot and to have any defects noted on the rental contract.

We DO NOT allow our vans to go out of the State of Florida. If you take the van out of the State of Florida and you have a break down we will not be able to handle your problem efficiently or in a timely manner. Any expenses incurred by either Florida Van Rentals, Inc. or the renter will be the responsibility of the renter.

The renter is not permitted under any circumstances to perform any repairs nor have any repairs made to our vans without proper authorization from Florida Van Rentals, Inc. If you are traveling with a large group and other members of the group are renting a vehicle from Hertz, Avis, Alamo etc. in addition to our van. Please be advised that we cannot wait at the airport for your party to get their rental vehicle. Airport security and our schedule do not allow us to do this.

Any van that is abandoned will be reported to the police as stolen and a $100.00 pick up fee along with any and all towing and legal fees will be charged.

All vans must be returned to the prearranged location at the prearranged time. If these arrangements have to be changed please call with new arrangements. If you do not call with new arrangements a $40.00 charge for every 30 minutes late will be assessed.

All renters should read the back of the rental agreement so there are no questions regarding the renter’s responsibility.

The rental amount will be charged 15 to 30 days prior to the start of the rental.
